James Morrison, MD, was educated at Reed College and obtained his medical and psychiatric training at Washington University in St. Louis. He is currently Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. He has served as Chief of Staff at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Coatesville Pennsylvania and was Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Temple University. He is the author of numerous journal articles and books, including The First Interview and DSM-IV Made Easy and co-author of Interviewing Children and Adolescents.
