Lisa Aronson Fontes, Ph.D., is a Core Faculty Member in the PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology at Union Institute & University in Vermont She has worked as an individual, family and group psychotherapist and has conducted research in Chile and with Puerto Rican, African Americans and European Americans in the US. Dr. Fontes is the author of Child Abuse and Culture: Working with Diverse Families and has edited Sexual Abuse in Nine North American Cultures: Treatment and Prevention. She has written journal articles and book chapters on cross-cultural research, ethics and cultural issues related to domestic violence. In 2007, Dr. Fontes was awarded a Fulbright Foundation Fellowship which was completed in Argentina.
