An essential, practical and compassionate guide to professional ethics for the new therapist as well as the seasoned practitioner. Drs. Pope and Vasquez have updated their classic ethics text, addressing the complexities of professional practice in our current times. Covering a comprehensive range of ethical issues, this book integrates research, case law, ethical standards and everyday examples with wisdom and common sense. Scenarios at the end of each chapter prompt the active questioning, thinking, feeling and responding that accompany the therapist's ethical responsibility and decision-making process.
