Dr. Frank Ochberg, is the founder of Gift from Within and co-founder of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Dr. Ochberg is the former Associate Director of the National Institute of Mental Health and a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Michigan State University. He was the editor of America's first PTSD treatment text. Dr. Angie Panos holds a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist, and a licensed clinical social worker. She has more than 20 years experience in traumatic stress treatment, dealing with war refugees, domestic violence, victims of rape and child abuse. Dr. Panos is a certified employee assistance professional, consulting with organizations in the prevention and response to workplace violence.
Charles Figley, PhD, is the Distinguished Chair in Disaster Mental Health and a Tulane University Graduate School of Social Work Professor since July 2008. . He is a former Fulbright Fellow and Professor in the College of Social Work at Florida State University. He is also director of the award-winning Traumatology Institute . He is founding editor of the Journal of Traumatic Stress and currently editor of Traumatology. Professor Figley has written more than 250 scholarly works including 20 books. One of the country's leading academics on trauma and disasters, he was instrumental in establishing the diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); and coined the phrase "compassion fatigue".
Danica Borkovich Anderson is a Certified Clinical Criminal Justice Specialist 16713, Fellow in the Academy of Trauma Experts and a Psycho-social Gender Victims Expert for the International Criminal Court in the Hague, The Netherlands.
