Dr. Frank Ochberg, is the founder of Gift from Within and co-founder of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Dr. Ochberg is the former Associate Director of the National Institute of Mental Health and a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Michigan State University. He was the editor of America's first PTSD treatment text.
Erwin R. Parson, (1943-2006) PhD, ABPP, was a Diplomate in Psychology, a Master Clinician and Trauma Treatment Technology Developer for over 20 years. Having worked in the area of administration of trauma programs, Dr. Parson also worked in the direct treatment of trauma adult and child victims. He was the author of dozens of articles and book chapters in the area of trauma, ethnicity, and healing.
Dr. Angie Panos holds a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist, and a licensed clinical social worker. She has more than 20 years experience in traumatic stress treatment, dealing with war refugees, domestic violence, victims of rape and child abuse. Dr. Panos is a certified employee assistance professional, consulting with organizations in the prevention and response to workplace violence.
